The alarm would go off.
We’d pick up our phones.
And somehow, half an hour was gone.
We both struggled with getting out of bed. Even when we woke up on time, we didn’t really start the day. We scrolled. Another video, another post, a quick check that was never quite quick.
By the time our feet hit the floor, the morning already felt like something we were catching up with. We wanted time for breakfast, a walk, or simply a few minutes to ourselves.
So we gave ourselves
somewhere to go.
That’s where GetOut started. An alarm on your phone, paired with a little puck you leave away from your bed. To complete your wake-up, you get up and scan it.
The idea is small on purpose. Get on your feet. Put a little space between waking up and opening a feed. Give the beginning of your day to something you actually chose.
We’re building GetOut for people who recognise that half hour in bed. Because we do, too.
