GetOut pairs an iPhone alarm app with a small physical puck. Leave the puck away from your bed, then get up and scan it to complete your wake-up. It gives your morning a finish line beyond the pillow.

Because getting out of bed is a physical action. A puck in the kitchen or across the room gives you somewhere to go. Its magnetic backing attaches to your fridge or another surface that holds a magnet. By the time you scan it, you’re already on your feet.

Set an alarm in GetOut. When it’s time to get up, open the app and scan your paired puck to complete the wake session. Stopping an individual iPhone alarm doesn’t complete the GetOut wake session. GetOut has no normal snooze option.

The app includes an emergency recovery option. Recovery is recorded separately from a completed morning. GetOut helps you build a routine; it doesn’t make your phone impossible to override.

GetOut is being built for iPhone with iOS 26.1 or later. It uses your iPhone’s NFC reader to scan the paired puck. There isn’t an Android version at the moment.

No. Morning Protection is optional. You choose the apps, categories or websites to block, and choose 30, 45 or 60 minutes of protection after a successful puck scan.

No. The GetOut app is included with your puck. No subscription needed.

Your next alarm, wake-up streak, an estimate of time reclaimed, and a bedtime suggestion based on your sleep target. Time reclaimed uses the usual snooze time you set, so it’s an estimate rather than a measurement of screen time.

When you sign up, you agree to receive an email when GetOut launches. We use your email for that notification, not a newsletter. FormSubmit processes the form and forwards your email and consent to GetOut’s inbox.
